Job Description
We are currently looking for a compassionate and dependable Certified Nursing Assistant - CNA in Waverly, VA. This position is responsible for providing warm, respectful, and attentive personal care services to residents. The CNA will assist residents with activities of daily living, provide companionship, support resident comfort and safety, and help identify changes in resident care needs. The ideal candidate should have a positive attitude, enjoy working with people, and take pride in helping residents maintain dignity, comfort, and quality of life. Responsibilities include assisting residents with daily personal care, supporting activities of daily living, observing changes in resident condition, communicating with the care team, encouraging resident participation in activities, and helping maintain a safe and supportive care environment.

Requirements
Current CNA certification preferred or required based on facility requirements High school diploma or GED preferred Experience assisting residents or patients with personal care and activities of daily living preferred Must be compassionate, patient, and dependable Must have a positive attitude and enjoy working with people Must be able to work overnight shift, 11p–7a Must be able to follow resident care plans and facility procedures Must be comfortable communicating with residents, families, and care team members Medication Aide certification is a plus Must be reliable, professional, and able to work in a team environment
